Let’s journey together into the depths of our being—into the subtle, vibrant world within, where symbols, images, and metaphors form which is the universal language of nature. In this gathering, we will journey deeply into the well of our being, below concepts, and listen to our body’s wisdom (nature).
Drawing on Focusing, the profound inner process developed by philosopher and psychotherapist Eugene Gendlin, we will explore and amplify our deep listening skills to the body’s felt senses—a subtle, intuitive knowing that arises from within. This method allows us to connect with what is just beneath the surface of conscious thought—often vague or wordless—and bring it into awareness through presence and cultivating compassion for self as we sit with parts of ourselves often neglected.
While Focusing is often done in pairs, when practiced in a group setting, something remarkable happens: the field of collective presence amplifies the energy and deepens the process and transformation happens quickly.
Let nature be your guide. Let the body lead. Let the unknown become known.
This is a beautifully yin practice and as such it’s very gentle, kind and grounding.
Benefits of Focusing include:
· Letting go of mental and emotional clutter
· Receiving inner guidance and clarity
· Expanding self-awareness
· Releasing stuck or repetitive patterns
· Tapping into creativity and realm of endless possibilities
This is an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with the wisdom that lives within you—and all around you.
Come together is a practitioner group that meets every Thursday night @Onespace in Mona Vale. It’s a space for practitioners to receive. It’s also a creative space where practitioners trial new offerings and techniques and cocreate together.
