What is Homeopathy?

Homeopathy is a medical system in its own right. It has existed for over 230 years; however, the foundations it is based upon have always existed. These foundations are called universal laws.

When we know and understand them we began to see them everywhere in nature and in us - as we are a part of nature too. With homeopathy being based on nature’s laws it makes homeopathy, when well prescribed, a very powerful medicine indeed.

Homeopathy is a form of medicine that addresses all three aspects of our being: mind, body, and spirit.

Our symptoms are the body’s way of communicating with us. Symptoms are only the tip of a much larger iceberg. Beneath the surface, in the depths of our being, lies the true cause of our dis-ease. This is where deeper imbalances and unresolved issues often exist, often long before symptoms even appear. We live in a society that teaches us discomfort and dis-ease must be eliminated quickly, but this comes at a cost as many are unaware of the long-term consequences of the treatments offered by conventional medicine. These outdated beliefs drain our vitality, rob us of our peace of mind, and leave our soul unheard and unacknowledged.

When our mind, body, and spirit are in balance we become way more connected to ourselves, to spirit, our purpose and to our inner power and truth.

As we dive deeper underneath our symptoms, we uncover a rich world beneath our surface self. I liken it to diving into the well of our being—a well full of wisdom, insights, symbols and metaphors. When we journey back into balance, we not only improve our physical health, but also how we show up in the world. Our relationships with friends and family improve, and we become more present and connected to all of those around us.

Alongside this journey of healing is the equally important process of letting go. Letting go of what no longer serves us—the beliefs, habits, and attachments that block us from stepping into our true selves. The more aligned we become, the more our intuition and consciousness expand, and our awareness heightens.

Over the last few years, I have been doing a process called the focusing technique. This technique involves being in my body and focusing on something called a felt sense. An example of a felt sense would be that feeling of butterflies we feel before an event. Sitting with these felt senses is sitting in nature and when we listen to nature she teaches us her ways. I have been using homeopathy for over 27years, and it is only recently that I have begun to understand the magnitude of a medicine based on her laws.
